Not all DNA tests are
the same. The accuracy of a DNA test depends on the number of genes
which are examined. The more locations that are examined, the more
accurate the test becomes. Currently, for high quality tests, all
16 locations are examined. Do not be fooled. Many Resellers and small
Asian labs do not test all 16 genes (many will cut corners and increase
profit by testing only 13 genes, or even as little as 3 to 6 genes).
There are no regulations in Asia to govern the quality of testing
which is conducted by small labs in Asia, and as a result, many labs
in Asia do not test all 16 genes. Always check how many genes are
tested. If less than 16 genes are tested, you may receive inconclusive
results.
